Guy’s team of Midwives and staff strive to provide a sense of confidence, wellbeing and comfort enabling a positive pregnancy, birth experience and successful postnatal recovery.
Guy delivers babies privately at both St Vincent’s Private Hospital and Epworth Freemasons Hospital.
The provision of ultrasound machines in our consulting rooms enables Dr Skinner and his highly experienced Midwives to scan your baby at most of your visits. Our beautiful rooms provide a welcoming and relaxing environment for our patients and their families to enjoy.
We offer an array of services suitable for every stage of your pregnancy journey. Whether your concerns relate to pre-pregnancy planning, high risk pregnancy management, complex birth, creating your birth plan or postnatal recovery. In addition, we provide both surgical and non-surgical gynaecological services which cover issues such as, abnormal menstrual bleeding, endometriosis or polycystic ovaries, for example, our practice provides the care and support throughout your journey.

What to expect at your first visit
We recommend coming for your first appointment at between 6 – 10 weeks of pregnancy. During this appointment, Dr Skinner will perform a dating scan with one of our two ultrasounds, take your medical history, discuss birth choices and answer any questions you may have. At this visit you will also discuss with Dr Skinner the choice of Maternity programs you would like to select.
